Melanie Sherman is a resident of Portland, OR. Melanie completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing at University of Maryland – Baltimore. She received her Master of Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner at Oregon Health & Science University, where she later served as adjunct faculty in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Melanie’s has been involved in cardiovascular, nephrology and diabetes specialties for over 15 years, working as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse, hospital cardiovascular disease educator, diabetes program coordinator, and nephrology nurse practitioner in the hospital, dialysis clinics, and outpatient settings. She moved into the pharmaceutical industry in 2018 and is now the Astrazeneca Medical Science Liaison for Oregon, Washington, Montana and N.Idaho.

 

Holly Snyder received a Master’s in Science from Columbia University in the Family Nurse Practitioner in New York City. Upon graduation Holly joined the Columbia University Nephrology service. Holly gained valuable clinical experience managing the care of all aspects of the nephrology community managing chronic kidney disease stages 1-5, dialysis treatments, novel glomerular disease treatments, transplant patients as well as hypertension/diabetes/lipid management. Holly subsequently joined the kidney transplant service at University of California San Francisco where her clinical focus was on the acute kidney transplant population. Holly is delighted to continue to contribute to this patient population as the Astrazeneca Metabolic and Cardiovascular Medical Science Liaison for Northern California/Reno given the frequency of cardiovascular disease in the renal community.
